John 3:17 is a part of John 3:16 as you study the word of God. John 3:16 is really the foundation of the whole Bible. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son and whosoever believe in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. And then verse 17 says God sent His son into the world not to condemn the world but that the world through Him would be saved. Jesus did not come to condemn you, He didn’t come to condemn anybody. He came to seek and to save which is lost, and so don’t accept condemnation, instead accept God’s goodness.
