What causes sickness and disease in our lives?

In this session, Thurman teaches that God, out of His integrity, will do what He says He will do.

Proverbs 26:2 tells us that a curse will not come to us without a cause, a reason. And Deuteronomy 28:1-28 teaches that sickness is a curse that is caused by sin in our lives. So this means that if we don’t obey the commands of the Lord, then curses will come upon us, and sickness is one of those curses.

It is a very simple cause-and-effect scenario: If you obey God’s word, He will bless you, but if you disobey, He will curse you with a curse.

God told Thurman that if we do not forgive others from our heart, then God will send a tormenting spirit to torment us with sickness and disease. That is what happens whenever we have unforgiveness or any other sin living in our hearts. God sends a demon of sickness to us and this is what causes sickness and disease.

But there is hope! If we choose to forgive others and repent of any sin in our hearts, God promises to forgive us and bring healing to our bodies.
